The participants of the last edition of AIT Camp/swissnexindia drew their ideas on paper.

The AIT program, which is organized by venturelab, EPFL, swissnex India and swissnex Brazil, aims to support scientists in transforming their high-level applied research into market application and discovering their entrepreneurial potential. By connecting scientists from top institutions in Switzerland and India/Brazil, the program promotes an international network and enables access to one of the most promising markets and intellectual capitals in applied research.

It is open to high-level and carefully selected researchers: Master, PhD, Postdocs and researchers of Swiss Universities, Universities of Applied Science and research institutes or centres of technological excellence with research track record working on a non-profit basis seeking to explore the successful market application of their high-level applied research.

Former participants are grateful that they took part. Débora Moretti says: “The AIT program is like oxygen. Although it is a tough program – which it has to be – it clears your mind and helps you to focus and to believe in other possibilities of living.” And her colleague Rafael Czepielewski adds: “AIT Camp is a game changer for a scientist that wants to take its technology to the market.”

The participants will learn how to pitch.

The participants will join the trip this autumn to Brazil (5th to 9th October 2015) and India (16th – 20th November 2015) and will take part in workshops, visits to companies at different stages of development – from startups to multinationals – and pitch meetings with an informed audience. The program concludes with presentations to a panel of experts: the top three presenters will win an AIT Innovation Grant worth 10,000 francs.

If you want to be part of it, apply now. Applications will be accepted until 12th August.
